Through Graphic Design and Printmaking this series of prints are meant to express identity through my own eyes and perspective and also acknowledging how I think others may perceive me or would describe me. “Seeing Red” is the name I gave to the series because that phrase is typically associated with a ton of emotions. The color red can symbolize desire, determination, love, anger and rage. In life everyone goes through struggles with their identity, and with that comes the other major struggles in life and how all of those things connect to make us our very own person. The way internal and external struggles present themselves in our lives, and how we interpret them and deal with them speaks to the way we ultimately carry ourselves and shape everything for the future.
