Epoxy can be used as a material for creating the automotive light prototype. The process including 3D printing, vacuum forming and epoxy casting. This method can reduce the cost of creating an automotive lighting prototype. Epoxy casting makes it possible for small industries, companies, and institutes to create prototypes. The average cost of producing a mold is lower than the urethane casting. Unlike urethane casting, the molds are up to an extent. Operators can do multiple castings at the same time without long lead times and expenses. The limits of this method are undercuts and concave geometry. The draft angle should be kept at a minimum of 1.5 degrees to make the demolding possible
